Finally, Microsoft starts to make progress in competition with Google. In my personal opinion IE9 is better than IE8, but it still not like Chrome, Chrome is still the best.

This is an opinion I share for IE 8 and older, but IE 9 actually isn't bad.. they're upping their game. However, if it's any indication, I have tried both and am writing this post from Chrome ;)

Chrome is better than IE 9, as chrome is carrying lot of add-ons that make the work faster and smoother.

I think internet explorer will never been better. Google Chrome is far more better in security compared to IE9. If only two choices I would go with Chrome over IE9.

Mozilla is my baby, but between these two, Chrome is the clear winner.

It has been a long time since I used Internet Explorer, my main browser is Firefox and Google Chrome. I will try IE 9 one of this days to see if it is better than any of my main browser...

IE 9 possibly has made a lot of progress but Chrome 9 is still my favorite. More and more addons for Chrome release and I believe Chrome will be very powerful in the future.

IE9 has already received good positive reviews of its performance. Here is the comparison of IE9 vs Chrome 6 vs Firefox 4.0 beta. The comparison is part of IE9 product guide released by Microsoft. The comparison is based on performance, reliability, interoperability, security and user experience.

It's a little early to make a call, as you're comparing a final version with a (pretty rough) beta. IE9 still has a long way to go (really wish they'd take down the all-pervasive advertising encouraging people to install BETA software - what are they doing!!??). In its current form, it really does evil things to Tiny MCE edited page code.
