After reading as much as i could about the Google Chrome OS with it's Linux kernel free support and god knows what i have the feeling that Microsoft is goona be running for the Hills when it comes out, what's your take on the fact? Do you think that Microsoft will just die out in the next few years or will Google make it's first failure? :/

While i agree with you, my point being that Microsoft is like the proverbial Bubble about to burst, the main reason for this is that over the past few years we've seen failure after failure from Microsoft the prime example of which is Vista and now the Windows 7 Operating system, do you still think that after all this, people would not want to try and alternative? :)

I really don't think there were any failures. Vista wasn't a failure and neither is windows 7. I don't understand why you would even think it's a failure.

I really don't think google OS will even put a dent into microsoft's sales. It will probably be one of those OS's that people try for fun to screw around on, but won't use it seriously.

TBH, I used Windows VISTA worst OS till date, far's Windows 7 goes it's just goona be the same old thing rehashed over and over again with some pretty interface updates, you can look it up on the web you'll find hundreds of thousands if not millions of negate reviews about Vista in general.

Furthermore, the main reason i think that the Google Chrome Os Will eventually destroy Microsoft is mostly due to the fact that they'll be adding cross platform compatibility in order to support most of the applications that Run on your Windows machine, so think about this, You either dish out about 300$ for Windows or you get the Free Google Chrome OS with no hassles no issues, a wonderful Interface all the applications you've wanted along with no charges or Issues ever :D. Hopefully i clarified my position a little bit? :)

Wow, Heavy Microsoft support here :p Guys, my point being that Vista had and still has alot of compatibility issues with Softwares as well as older hardware, Not only that but Vista is turning into a joke nowa days :) It's not being laughed at by Linux or debian users, no it's the Windows Users themselves, I mean how many people actually bothered switching to Windows Vista? :/

Regardless of the fact that the number Corporate solutions that Microsoft can offer, Google always manages to topple them over by offering a more viable and catered solution, i still think Chrome will have a HUGE impact on Microsoft's monopoly in the OS Dept.

Yeah i am thinking with this too. Microsoft Sales will decrease the moment
people would like the New OS of Google.
But it would be another adjustment for the user in familiarizing the Google OS's
environment. But I think MS will still be the leading in Operating Systems..

It will only be the end of Microsoft if Chrome can get a major International corporation to roll out Chrome as their OS throughout their entire business

And then they have to like it and encourage others to do the same

Maybe in 100 years time Chrome might have 10% of the market?

I don't think Bill Gates has pooped in his pants just yet!!!

MS shall think about why people want to pay for OS.
It is not the matter of free MS Office.
