Google Chrome icon in notification area?

    I just noticed that Google Chrome has put an icon in my notification area. This only just appeared today and I can't seem to find any reference as to why it would just appear. Has anyone else has this? Should I start getting worried and looking into it? TIA

    I like firefox for downloads, and chrome for everything else, but the ads do get annoying
