It's nice, its fast. It uses a different rendering engine (based on the one used in Apple Safari) so if it gets popular, as I guess it will, we'll all need to check our pages in it. Until Chrome supports the kind of extensions you can get in Firefox, it isn't going to become my browser of choice, but it actually has some of the Firebug extension functionality built in, and some other tools to help optimize pages (or see why they are slow to load.) I just blogged about it.
Fast and simple for regular web users. I have to have my Firefox add-ons though. Also, I'm hoping to see a major increase in JavaScript speed in FF3.1. Also, the tabs above the address bar is another thing to get used to. I know it wastes screen real estate, but it's almost a must for me to see the full page title across the top.
It's definitely faster than anything else I have installed. However, I need my AdBlock and Roboform - first thing!
And I need the status bar.. Sometimes my ISP is playing around with me, I don't exactly know how much longer do I need to wait for the page to load..
It's fast and pretty comfortable to use, but I won't use much, since Firefox is by far better at the moment. The really interesting part will be the integration of certain google services into Chrome, so long term it may establish itself well as a platform independant base for applications, but at the moment it can't compete with any "real" browser like IE or Firefox.
I installed it yesterday and till now no problems. Faster than IE or FF at present. Lets see, what it holds in future.
this browsing platform doesn't have much for the features and function that why its smooth and fast.. i guess someday they will add a plugin, popup blocker..etc..then chrome will be slow when running.
I haven't tried it yet, but I plan on checking it out when I get a chance. IE and Firefox both work well for me though, so I doubt I'll use Chrome too much unless they make it extra cool.
Not bad, certainly faster than FF. But for day-to-day work I need Firebug and Noscript, and definitely miss mouse gestures!
