Thats it. Personally I don't want G to have more traffic data than they do already. I don't want them knowing where a high proportion of serfers serf, ....

I am scared of G. these guys are just getting way to much data. Have installed it none the less to see my sites are looking ok and rendering properly in it. Will stick to firefox for my main browser though.

Its really faster than firefox. Much more faster. And I like the looks. Perhaps they can improve it more! And they should! Google rox! :)
I CANT SCROLL UPWARDS! (Touch Pad)
    Anybody else experiencing it?

I am looking for a Google Pagerank toolbar for the Google Chrome Browser I just installed. Feels like its like a skeleton of Mozilla. Feels too plain.

I believe Mozilla is still the best. Or is IT ?

Let us know if you find the Pagerank Toolbar plugin soon.

So far it has been much much faster for me, especially for multimedia apps!

For all the people scared about 'google spying' I do hope you are aware that in every single google product there are options to ensure your privacy, you really must be slightly retarded to think google collect data which is of next to no use to them.

Chrome seems to have some nice features, the security window which prevents any personal data being stored on teh computer or caugth by any other program is a great feature, though I am not sure how much I would use it.

Before I use this full time I think I will need to see a few more addons come out for it, no more clicks for firefox is awsome and I hope they port it across.

So far my only real problem with it is that it wont become my default browser, but I haven't restarted my computer yet!

I think it will take big time to beat Firefox because Firefox plugins and other features are awesome and Google Chrome is very simple for me :)

I've got to wait for the Mac beta - It does look ok but i think we'll have to see if it'l' be better than firefox, for the moment i doubt it - firefox is far to advanced. But in the future who knows.

You do realise that Google and Mozilla do work closely together, hence why the splash screen on Mozilla is a google search (firefox version)

I have used chrome. I dont think much of it but the task manager and applications shortcuts are very cool.

Also the speed is fantastic. Although each tab is a new instance of the browser.

Across the web tests have already shown that the performance of Chrome outstrips any other browser by a long, long way...

And it is only version 0.2! I'm sure all bugs will be fixed within a week or two.

Ladies and gentlemen... we are at the dawn of a new era

One thing that does stand out is the speed which is noticeably faster Than Ie and FF.

It's not my default browser yet but I am warming to it already.

Need to see about all the plugins etc as I miss my plugins

while microsoft 8.0 also has "in private" mode for beta tests for several months, seems like Google is getting all the press with "incognito" and the slick interface. they even had it on my local news channel at 11pm going to best buy and getting consumer impressions. i wouldn't think it's that big a deal.

I really liked the idea but now I'm not so sure after i downloaded it and noticed glitches on a few sites including my own. all we need is another new browser to code for.
