Google just launched beta version of Chrome for Mac OS X 10.5 or later. Do you think if it will be able to break through the powerful Safari and Firefox for Mac?
I'm saying this: 1 out of every 3 of you will be using Chrome by the end of next year. In two years, as many people might be using Chrome as IE. (I'm saying IE usage will drop below 50% by then)
An interesting claim. Perhaps rephrasing that with a "variant of Chrome" may be better. I am seeing many people recently trying out Iron and Chromium as they do not trust Google.
Slowly but surely Google Chrome is gaining a fan base for window user. Let see if it can compete against safari for Mac. I personally like using chrome for some reason. If chrome will allow addons just like Firefox then I think it will be a good competition against Firefox.
Thank you for keeping us updated. I think Google Chrome for MAC will not overcome the easy accessibility of Firefox. Firefox is still the best.
In the short time it's been out, it's passed Safari in usage and the trend still points up. Firefox trend also is up while IE has been losing market share almost every month for 5 years now.
they just released the linux version as well. I used it for 5 minutes and went right back to firefox. nothing is touching firefox!
I just Loooove firefox and facing lot of problem with Chorme. I dont think it will work same as firefox in Mac platform.
I am still very happy with my Macintosh dual-processor Power PC. And, I am a very late adapter (let everybody else putz around with betas - I don't have time). So, Chrome is utterly useless for me, since I won't be switching to Intel for another year or two. . .
Of course, you ignored the fact that the Linux version is beta but, yes, it's still rough and works somewhat differently.
