"Google Chrome Browser", is it good? Should I download it? I have IE and Firefox so when I build new sites, I don't want to have to hassle with trying to figure out how to get into the source like I did with firefox. OK, what benefit is Google Chrome in this so called beta test phase? Should I wait or should I use it? What is all the buzz about as the screen shots do not look that appealing. I also heard something about it not being good for marketers, what does that mean? Stay Golden, SeasonedMKTR
Hi, Just download, install and try it your self Should be faster then IE and Firefox, tho some say Firefox 3.1 is faster then all, even Safari.
Well it is new, buggy, and eventually will be used by Google to implant subliminal messages into your head. Your choice In all honesty, why not download it and make sure your website works with it as well.
Google will soon be my god. I will wake up and bow to google. Then grab a cup of google, I mean coffee, MADE by google and eventually everyone will become a google. What is a "google" anyways?
i think it works too much like IE. at my other job I work behind a proxy and Firefox allows me to get around the proxy, IE does not. Google chrome does not either , so it seems to much like IE
google chrome and firefox seem to follow the same CSS and XTML standards so both browsers will treat pages the same and have similar problems with the same sites. so, if you code for firefox then it'll probably look the same on chrome. chrome is said to be bad for affiliate marketers because incognito mode doesn't allow for cookie tracking.
It's incredibly fast, but in my experience it crashes too often... the first time it did, it was while I was watching a YouTube video with... what do you call them... those little interactive messages in the gray box . It has good features but it's not nearly as extendable and customizable as FF.
At the moment, it is just a simple browser with no special features or add ons and it is in Beta. I suggest you wait for some time, try it when there is a stable version available.
