Google Checkout

    Hello,

I do many writing tasks on the internet and normally get paid by PayPal. I'm now looking into using Google Checkout as the fees are a lot less!

Does anyone know if Google Checkout can be used by an individual just to receive payment for odd-jobs done from time to time or is it only for merchants selling things?

Yes, you can use google checkout if you're an individual. It's just like paypal.

I'm not sure - it asks you to give details about your company.
Just chatting with one of their reps now to clear it up.

    Yeah, RovingCalpyso is right.

What I was told is that it's only available to individuals in the US. If you live in the UK, you need to provide details about your company so basically, it's no use to me!
