I notice that most of the posts in this group are about Paypal, which I use and like a lot.

I wonder why there isn't much traffic about google checkout? Is it because of lack of popularity?

My question is, "does anyone have the same heartache about
their terms and conditions as I do."

For example, they won't allow you to request the zip code for calculating
    shipping costs.

They want product protection, we cannot position or present Google Checkout as a form of payment equivalent to Visa, MasterCard, etc.

You have to come up with default shipping costs in case they don't get the information back from you within 3 seconds. This is tough for a company like ours that has one ounce and one ton products.

    Whatdaya think?

Google checkout is customer friendly but seller-unfriendly. Thats why it is banned by eBay.
