    Hi,

I am currently using PayPal as payment option in my site & want to go for Google Checkout.

I read in different forums that Google Checkout is facing problem like:
    1) It does not send the customer back to the vendor site as PayPal does.
    2) Sometimes there is delay in processing the transaction and sending confirmation to the vendor site.

Can anyone help me to find facts related to this Google Checkout problem & if it supports Instant Payment Notification (IPN) just like PayPal has?

    Thanks.

GCO does have an API integration.

The way GCO works is the customer leaves your site and completes the purchase. Google then charges their card and goes through some fraud checking. Once everything checks out, the order is successfully processed and you can ship the product. The problem is that their check can take up to a few days in some cases. If you setup the level 2 integration, the API will send you notification at each step of the process, so you know exactly when you can ship something and when the transaction is complete.

Also, you can specify a return page that google will send the user back to on your site, but this is a completely optional click, so don't expect everyone to return after the sale.
