Hi. I'm interested if someone use google checkout because most of the sites uses paypal or moneybookers. and on this forum I found lots of threads about paypal, moneybookers and alertpay, but not so much about google checkout.

so my questions are: How many of you use google checkout? It is better than others. I think buyers will trust google checkout the same way as they trust paypal. so why I don't see so many site using google checkout?

    Thank you

Google Checkout is currently opened up to US and UK merchants only. They are not in the same league as Paypal as Paypal is more a virtual money platform where money are typical exchanges amongst members while Google Checkout typically is a one-way platform which helps merchant receives money from customers' who use their credit card to pay. Of course, Paypal does allow credit card payment too.

Google Checkout is pretty much similiar to 2checkout.com or the other 3rd party credit card payment processors around.

As for the usage, Google Checkout is used mainly by the big players in the market which usually offers physical products. See http://www.google.com/checkout/m.html

Google Checkout is available for US and UK merchants only.

People use Google checkout as additional payment option because they do not charge transaction fees if the merchant uses google adwords for advertising his business.
