Google Checkout + Registration/Login for Repeat Customers?

We've decided to install Google Checkout on our website to handle single orders. We also want to be able to automate and accept our wholesale orders online too, since as of right now its all over-the-phone. The problem is, we obviously can't add our wholesale products and prices (min number of cases, discounted price) to the general public shopping section because it's reserved for approved wholesale buyers, such as large sports organizations, retailers to resell, or distributors to resell.

We figured it'd be easiest if there was a registration process where I could manually approve someone to purchase wholesale from us. Then, from there, i'm not sure how to actually present the products online. What is my best option, using Google Checkout, to allow ONLY registered users to purchase at wholesale?

What shopping cart software are you using.

I would recommend changing the prices on the entire site for approved wholesalers that are logged in. Not sure what software you are using, but it shouldn't be an especially difficult programming task assuming the site does have an authentication / my account functionality.

As far as payment, it shouldn't really matter whether they use google or anything else. Just pass the order value to google, paypal, or whatever else during the checkout process.
