Google Checkout - holding payouts forever?

I was wondering about Google Checkout. I just recently did a major ($xxxx) transaction on Google Checkout. This is my first transaction with them, and according to their terms you have to wait 10 days after your first charge before you can receive any payout. Anyway, I did some research, and found all these horror stories about Google Checkout holding their funds for months and months - has anyone else experienced this here?

We've been using them since they first opened and have never had problems. As long as the transaction is legitimate and not against their TOS, you should be fine. However, running a large transaction right off the bat, is a good way to get money help with any processor. Since they have no record of history for your business, it's extremely risky to allow the transaction to go through without further investigation. Just make sure to quickly respond to any information requests should they contact you. A lot of times, processors will request more information about a transaction like this.

Thanks for the advice jestep. I'm past my 72 hour timeline since the transaction, so hopefully we're all clear. Just waiting on my 10 day holding to expire, I'll update this tread regarding if I received payout alright or not.

About those horror stories, Google for PayPal horror stories and you get the same result. Don't take them seriously. U've done it legit then it will be fine.
