Has anyone seen any articles or evidence that the Google Checkout badge increases clicks on Adwords? I am currently pondering which to use between Paypal Pro and Google Checkout ... but I know that when I am browsing Google, that badge certainly attracts attention!
I think that because it draws a little extra attention, there is definitely going to be some positive click-through from it. I don't necessarily think that people will be clicking because they want to pay with GCO, it's just not that popular yet, but it definitely will get your ads noticed a little more. Personally, I would integrate with both GCO and paypal. Paypal usage is high enough, especially in tech / internet related products that it definitely shouldn't be overlooked.
One friend has it and he says that it increases his clicks. Although it may increased for some other reason, but you should try it.
Does anyone know if you can opt for one ad to display the badge and others not to? This would be a nice A/B test. I didn't see the option anywhere. If someone knows of a method to do so, short of 2 ad groups, please post it here. boblaw
