Google drop the bomb right into my account so I wouldn't know.
But I'm sure Googie can cover our crumby little cheques.

Anything can happen, but Google certainly has sufficient assets. I agree with Kerosene that Autodeposit works well though.

I've read about it some where that his check did bounce. They just sent him another.

I do mine over EFT so I don't have that problem.

Electronic transfer is not only available in US. We get it in Australia, and I believe many other countries have it too.

Yes, I saw someone once post a thread (not sure if it was on DP or elsewhere) quite amused because they had tried to deposit a Google cheque and it had been refused for insufficient funds. :) Obviously just some stuff up, as Google would have many many many times sufficient funds. :)

Just checked. These seem to be the countries which can have payment via electronic funds transfer, according to Google info:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United States, United Kingdom

I think I saw that too and it was an obvious lie. When you are depositing the check, there is no way for your bank to know if the funds are available in Google's account or not..
