I think it must be hard to be the world's biggest search engine!

Amazing. How would any of YOU like to be told that 'you arent doing it right' on one of your sites?

I totally agree! How can certain websites expect to rank number one? For that matter, Google can't possibly let all websites rank number 1.

That is why I say, it must be hard to be Google.!

hmm I read the article, not a lot of information but it did mention some thing about Google favoring it's own services over competitors. Well even if that is so, can you blame them? I mean how much money are they spending to run youtube, you better bet they are going to favor their video service over another.

Yeah, it is still a breaking story, so not much info is available.

The attorney general wants to investigate whether Google is favoring its own services over that of competitors in search results. This I dont think is a fact. You will have seen all Google's own ads and Google's own products in top results.

And its not like Google is owned by government or something... If they want a self-promotion on THEIR website than they can have it.. This is ridiculous.. Additionally, Google just knows their own system better than others.. They for sure know how to be ranked first on Google without using any illegal actions..

The issue is whether G penalizes its competitors in natural SERPs. The Texas AG asked for information on 'Foundem' which is a UK comparison shopping site and which belongs to a larger organization (Competitive Online Marketplace) that is partly funded by Microsoft. Info on other companies was also requested.

So, does G manually tweak results to reduce competition? That's what the AG wants to know.

Google is along whit Microsoft and IBM the parents of the digital age . Any idiots trying to trow dirt at them are pure and simple idiots .
