There is another thread on this, but after speaking with my bank I am furious with Google. Here's the deal: 1. Google try and process a charge this morning for about $600 - it was declined through lack of funds. 2. I see the message in Adwords and transfer some money and then press the retry button under billing. 3. Nothing happens in Adwords, they still say they can't process it. 4. I purchase a domain name through Moniker perfectly fine using the credit card. 5. I add a secondary credit card to my account, and also resave the primary one. 6. A few hours later I repeat step 5. 7. I call my bank, find out Google charged one card twice, and the other card once for the same amount. 8. My billing tab in Adwords says they received payment ONCE, and my account is still LOCKED anyway. WTF
Did you accidentally hit retry multiple times? Contact your Google rep and your bank. Best bet is to keep a cool head about the entire situation. Good luck
Anyone got a special number I can call? Coming up on 24 hours and no response. I'm gonna start a charge back if they don't even bother to respond to me shortly.
Have you contacted AdWords support via email? If you notify them it's a billing issue they usually respond within 24 hours. Wait a day or two longer before charging back, since there may be all manner of reasons they havn't replied. Good luck!
Yeah - they actually just replied to be now - something about authorization charges... but twice on the same card - something is wrong.
Something is messed up... the maximum amount you can owe Google is $500. My account says that I owe over $800 right now... and they still haven't billed me.
What happens once you exceed $500? I've had them bill me multiple times on what seems an arbitrary basis - will they just bill you once you reach that point?
