Google chache is not showing images

    Hello,

    I don't understand. Google is not showing images for my Wordpress blog pages in cache. It shows the whole page as if there is no CSS file just text, links, etc...

    I have blocked robots from those folders, but I don't think that is the issue. Can anyone help me with this?

    Because those folders are in the wp-content themes folder. If I didn't block just the wp-content folder then I would need to manually block each and every other folder except the image folder which is pointless, wp-content and so on also has duplicate content, so does the themes folder, so does the plugins folder etc... for SEO it's best to block these folders.

    You do not need to block search engines from reading your images and CSS. Remove the block and see what is happening. Usually your problem happens when Google has a version of your page and you change the locations of the images. The old page (in the cache) is not able to load the images.
