I just received an email from Google announcing that they going to change their certification program for professionals and companies. What do you think about that. I'm a bit skeptical about such a big change. Here is the mail:
Only members of Google Partners can take the exams and get certified. If you're already a member, log into your Partners account and follow these simple steps: Log into your account at google.com/partners. Click on Certifications to see your exam status. Click Take the exam when you're ready to get started.
You have to be affiliate with some company in order to get free adwords exams. I just migrate to Google Partners but can't see "Certification" tab and I can't find my Adwords certificate anywhere. Currently I'm not affiliate to any company and I haven't add a MCC account ( I use different ones for MCC and Adwords certification purposes).
I've currently working on becoming certified in Adwords and I have to say that I really like the new set up!
Hi, I'm taking tests for MCC Adwords Certfication, and had a couple questions about the ad spend/ campaign management requirement. I have a new MCC account which includes two sites, so far. One of them I've managed a bit already (through access shared to me) and one is new to me. 1. As I've just added them to my MCC I can't get MCC certified for 90 days, right? 2. Does Google Grant ad spend count? (it's a real campaign with real budget, just budget is provided by Google) 3. What do they look for in that campaign management? Both campaigns I've taken on are already established. I likely will be just tweaking the campaigns, adding geographic focus, retooling display ads to focus on remarketing, etc. What improvement/ability do I need to demonstrate for Google to anoint me? Also, does anyone ever get business from being listed? I assume it wont actually generate any business to be listed, but doesn't hurt to have the certification. Thx C
