Hello... You can read the story Here http://www.businessinsider.com/google-ceo-twitter-a-poor-mans-email-system-2009-3 Sounds like someone is jealous that the spotlight is on "twitter" thx malcolm
I wonder how soon buyers will be lining up to buy twitter, and for how much. Maybe in the end it will again be Google to buy it like it bought youtube.
It wont be facebook as they only offered $100 million in cash... I think MSN owns facebook but not sure, so that only leaves google with the type off money twitter is looking for... thx M1
According to this article: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/25/technology/25facebook.html Micosoft has a 1.6% stake in the Facebook, and they paid $240 million for it. But this article is old so I'm not sure about its accuracy today.
ohhhh ok wow they hardly own it... i thought they had a much bigger stake in it then that Well its all i hear about on CNN and all major TV news, even politicians using it (during obamas stimulas talks ) and so on ... twitter this and twitter that.... its like this wild "gold rush" phenomenon Ill be honest its part of why im using it now as it got such a buzz that i couldnt resist not to try it! thx M1
Maybe but don't forget Yahoo too. Yahoo needs something to make its comeback with a bang on the business arena.
Twitter might overtake Google at some point. It's like a search engine where the results are updated by the second, instead of waiting for Google's index process and getting SERP's full of old listings. On this topic, here's pretty cool plugin for Twitter results on Google http://searchengineland.com/new-tool-adds-twitter-search-to-google-16756
What is astonishing is how a buzz created about, lets face it, a bloging site, has made it so "cool" that people want to buy it. You can bet your bottom dollar whoever buys it will stuff it full of monetisation and turn it into a bier marketin spamfest than it already is!
