Guess you need to cross test the lowercase vs uppercase and decide.

Very interesting, I had tried this myself a little while ago and did not notice any difference. I'm interested in knowing if you've tried it out and have had any success in using lowercase in your page titles?

The people using lower case are mostly internet savvy searchers, it would give more clue if you know the percentage of such users. :)

I've noticed differences too, but I'm sure Google claims it makes no difference?

I agree with your view but the there is a difference in output for the searches for singular and plural keywords; i.e. words with an additional "s" :)

Good find.. I think google needs to look into this .. This clearly shows that Google does n't use semantic techniques..

Was it different because you were signed into your google account? This can sometimes throw up different results.

I think we have tested the result of lower case and upper case here sometime ago. Both return different result for the same words in Google search.

are you sure about this? According to you , When I look up a keywords in the keywords tool , I should get different results for upper and lower , which I don't.

Yseo - I'm getting different results from positions 6 - 10 for caps and non caps - although positions 1-5 are the same in both - try it again maybe.

Yep the same thing happens to me too...one of my keywords rank #3 with a capital letter (ie. Sample) and ranks #11 for the lowercase version (ie. sample)

Thanks for backing me up Kloop, seems strange to me - some thing I never expected from Gogle. Maybe its because its geo targeted searches (contains word spain in search) I'm not sure - any better ideas?

    Yes and no.

*Yes because for me, the Upper- and lowercase results vary from google.com.gt (of my country) but not in google.com. That means that the results are geo targeted.

*No because I tried with another word: point and not with a proper name.

    Watch the results:

    http://www.google.com/search?q=point
    http://www.google.com/search?q=Point
    http://www.google.com/search?q=PoinT

    see? No change.

    BUT:

    http://www.google.com.gt/search?q=P...s=org.mozilla:es-ES:official&client=firefox-a

    http://www.google.com.gt/search?q=p...s=org.mozilla:es-ES:official&client=firefox-a

    http://www.google.com.gt/search?q=P...s=org.mozilla:es-ES:official&client=firefox-a

    Weird.
