Google can't grow!

Sergey says that Google can not find enough good people to grow like they would like to grow.

    http://www.zacks.com/research/get_news.php?id=040w2566&t=GOOG

The thing that amazes me is that I have been here all this time so they really have no excuse, I would be willing to work for Google real cheap and give them a hell of a lot of ideas that could be turned into big businesses.

Larry, Sergey, for a couple million a year and warrants (stock options) for 20 million or so over 5 years I would be willing to join you guys.

Pocket change guys, PM me here at DP ASAP as you really do need me to make it man

Silly excuses. If yuo can't grow organically, just buy your way forward.

They invested in a research lab in India; they should do more of that IMO. Lots of quality to be bought in Asia.

They can buy their way forward, soon as they sign the contract offered in the first post I will start work. But I demand that I work only online from my location of choice, I will not meet with other employees and have no desire to meet any of them.

I believe the article was adressing Google's difficulty in hiring exceptionally talented foreign born engineers. Finding people that meet their specs means looking globally, and that's no easy task.

Google's developing a ton of new apps - have any of you seen Google Maps? It blows away Yahoo and Mapquest! No comparison.

It is fantastic. From 1996-1999 I worked in an internet based commercial real estate co. and at the time, these satellite pics were something we added because it is something they look at -- at the time they were costly. However, the commercial real estate industry was slow to move to another medium of obtaining the info they needed (i.e., the internet) and didn't embrace newfound technologies -- they apparently love their paperwork. These maps would do very well in the real estate industry, particularly commercial real estate -- high dollar accounts. I wouldn't be suprised if they licensed the technologies to the big commercial real estate industry.

Michael, my terms are in my first post, I will work from any location I choose and I will not meet anyone from Google nor take any of their tests.

My history is right here in the posts I made at DP, if that is not good enough for Larry and Sergey I will work for Bill Gates

In fact I really won't work that much either, just give those guys a few tips here and there to put them over the top

That is exactly what I could offer Google, I could lead their other half division and cater to folks like myself that are in the 51% bracket (1% smarter than the average person).

That is a hell of a large market, just think of the markets we could sell into, beer, hunting, pickup trucks, Nascar Racing, Republican Voters, plus all those "I'd rather be fishin" and "I'm a Redneck" types.

I can deliver these markets to Google as their President of the "Average Person Marketing Division"

Yeah, if the Google and Microsoft positions don't work out, I am going to ask Hugh Hefner for the President of Human Resources job.

A wise man once said that if you don't ask it you will never get it :)

Beats working for a living

Google typically hires 90th percentile people. You'll need a PHD or Masters degree from Stanford or MIT to fit into their culture. Dunno, seems like that elitest crowd I wouldn't want to deal with.

Yeah man, but they need me for other reasons, coding is not everything, computer science can not replace the human mind or AI would have been successful, it is still hundreds of years away.

They have a choice, give me a contract or I am a free agent, free to sign with M$ or Yahoo or IBM
