hey just wanted to know one thing.. if one of our accounts gets banned... can we open another account with our brother or sister name... is it allowed... please be polite in answering as i am a newbie
Admit: Nokia is very polite cake I have noticed some things worth mentioning here 1) 99% who get banned earn $50+ too early in the morning 2) CTR increases 3) They are new in business but have rivals who click on their ads 4) Try to persuade Google [Remember: Google eats Money ] 5) They hope they will never change but change PPC agency At last I wish you all the best
No one has right to open account on another's name until unless one has written authority by named person and clear notice to Google.
Oh, for goodness sake!!! Hardly any wonder people lose their accounts when they don't take the few minutes it needs to read through the Google terms. No, you CAN'T open an account in your sister's name and use it on your sites. #1 It's fraud because it is your sister's name #2 Your websites have been flagged because your account has been terminated. This means that come next payday, when Google run their checks, the account will get flagged as previously terminated under another name. You will then lose the account you created under your sister's name. And no, you won't get paid. If you had taken the trouble to read Google's TOS, Policies and Webmaster Guidelines, you would have encountered a stipulation to the effect that should you, the Adsense account holder, notice any suspicious activity, you are duty-bound to notify Google. So, for example, if you suddenly see a spike in page impressions and / or CTR for no apparent reason, you should let Google know about it. Even if you know why there is a spike in traffic; for example, if your site ends up on the front page of Digg.com, it is worth letting Google know why your page impressions have suddenly skyrocketed. This is why Crazy_Rob knows you have not read the Adsense TOS because if you had, you wouldn't be here now and you most definitely would never have previously posted your CTR.
If you buy a tiger and it eats your neighbor, it’s your fault. It is still your fault even if the neighbor was teasing the tiger with a steak. The risk of business is that you are responsible for everything, even items out of your control.
Just to ad on to it, you will likely get you sister banned from google adsense forever, if there were ever a chance she might like to use it herself. I am sure she will appreciate that. You think because google didn't ban you the second your post showed up on digital point with your stats that you are not supposed to post that it means that was not the cause? I am guessing in your case there are probably 50 justifiable reasons for your termination. Just a hunch.
Okay to the first question. Your account may have been banned and the website name which you used to register that account would also get banned from adsense. But google will not ban every site that your adsense was on. Otherwise DP would have been banned from adsense long ago. As some webmasters who have been banned from google had their ads here also.
That's got to be one of the dumbest things I've read in a long time. Google can, does and will track every site the code was on previously. Should Adsense reappear on the same sites they will be flagged for human intervention, examined and if all of the details remain the same ... same owner, same site information, same anything that got Adsense banned in the first place; the 'new' account will be terminated with prejudice.
Yeah so if some webmaster's ads are on DP as it is revenue sharing and then he or she gets ban for his or her personal site. Then will DP be also flagged???? It cannot be possible.
I'm having a hard time calling you 'not smart' here too. 1. This account will more than likely be closed too.*ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR* 2. You posted it on a public forum *bites tongue*
What age are you? About 14? Of course it is possible. Here's another way to look at it: how many 'revenue sharing' websites are there on the internet? Very few is the answer. Digital Point is also a well established webmaster community forum (that Google read). Anyone at Google seeing DigitalPoint on their screen would immediately know the only reason it was there was because of the revenue sharing and would ignore it.
Thanks MCFOX for explaining it to me. Now I can understand that. By the way I am 24 not 14 you just missed 10 years. So you are right they will know that this is a well established site and they also know that this one is revenue sharing so there is nothing personal from DP side for this kind of accounts getting their ads on DP. Thanks for explanation once again.
Ah, ok, 24. Wouldn't be the first time we've had a 14 year old on the forums trying to make a point we know to be based on misinformation or misunderstanding.
Just scrolling through the first dozen or so posts was kind of surreal, Crazy_Rob and Nintendo's avatars alternately staring you down and disciplining you, *shudder*. This guy will definitely repent or be scared straight
