Google Caffeine.

Caffeine? New word for me in terms of SEO. Does any body know what are the main differences?

seems much faster to me for sure but not sure if it is better yet, will do some more testing

 

In the new infrastructure so far I think there is...

- an increased weighting on domain authority & some authoritative tag type pages ranking (like Technorati tag pages + Facebook tag pages), as well as pages on sites like Scribd ranking for some long tail queries based mostly on domain authority and sorta spammy on page text
- perhaps slightly more weight on exact match domain names
- perhaps a bit better understanding of related words / synonyms
- tuning down some of the exposure for video & some universal search results

Currently I'm #38 for "Non Cheesy Wedding DJ" but in the Caffeine version, I'm #5 (page one).

The word "cheesy" only appears in content (not metas).

 

so how google caffeine affect our search result, what we should take care.

Google currently lets people pre-test their new enhances search index technology available at "www2.sandbox.google.com" (Codename: "Caffeine"). This tools lets you easily compare caffeinate results with de-caffinate results (a.k.a. plain old Google). Just type and search as usual.

Yeah, google is going to get supercharged, but I suspect the same old google just a different, name chrome, etc. Google is number one for a reason, just another option added, should be good.

google caffeine will create a new ranking, there will be change in current rankings...

 

It will essentially bugger everything you thought you new about SEO. Content will become more important and as for inbound links, say good bye!!

 

This is how I understand the effect of Google Caffeine. Google caffeine's purpose is to make all the Google data centers to one data center. This effect will make stable search results. Based on my experience (until now) when I search a keyword from my PC, I was placed on the 1st page but when I check on other PC it was placed on the 2nd page which will create a huge difference especially everybody wants to get on the 1st page. With Google Caffeine if you rank on the 1st page when you check other PC as well you are still ranked on the 1st page. The only side effect of Google Caffeine is many websites will fluctuate it's rankings.
