Sup everyone, Thought I would just post some of my findings for you since Caffeine started. It's been good so far, but I see that the tweaking is still running so I'm sure things will still change. Hope your weekend wasn't as sleepless as mine. Kona Coffee Site: On average I've seen a 15% improvement on my keywords. On average they moved up 3 to 7 spots. I'm pretty happy with the results so far. This site has a solid SEO program that I've been running for the last 7 months. Pick Up Line Site: On average thissites results have moves up 1-2 spots. for about 5% of its keywords. I'm not so impressed with this website. Although it has a ton of content I would have expected it to move up a lot more. This is also an older website than the Kona coffee site so I'm a bit perplexed on why it doesn't show better results. So the word is still out on Caffeine in my book. It's still running and I see dancing across all 120 different Google data centers that I'm watching (although it seems to be a 50/50 split). As always I'll be posting more detailed information on my personal blog. Click the link in my sig if you want more caffeine info.
I dont think it has rolled out in the UK yet http://www.comparecaffeine.com/search-gb.php I have been using this tool, and hope that the results are going to be correct, once its all been rolled out, as my websites have seen a good jump in SERPs
All you have to do is get a program like Advanced web ranking by caphyon. You can add all the data centers in there and see for yourself. I would suggest that the compare caffeine tool is too narrow. I look at about 120 different datacenters. Unfortunately I can't check for you since I'm in Scottsdale. But you could test multiple UK datacenters from your location to find out. Everything I see is that Caffeine is rolling out to everyone. The problem is that the results aren't conclusive since the DC's aren't matching up yet.
where do you find the UK data centres? keeping everything crossed, that the results showing on that tool are correct once it rolls out, and Ill be a happy man
i saw few changers in the UK search also (google.co.uk) my some sites traffic gone up 90% from google.co.uk. But im not sure 100%.
I use Advanced web ranking.... it has all the up to date Google data centers. Something in the range of like 300+ data centers. Although for the UK it only gives two versions. .co.uk web search .co.uk only search From what I can see from here in Arizona it looks like it's out but I would really prefer to be in the UK doing searches to be 100% sure. It's just something I don't check on everyday.
Once again, I'm from the UK and i monitor serps daily. I can confirm that google caffeine is NOT live in the UK serps. Once caffeine has been fully implemented, Matt Cutts will make a formal announcement on his blog. Les
How can you tell. I thought this was changes to the backend, what would you see that would be different?
overrated I get the same or very similar results for everything I search haven't they been talking about this for a few years now
So I see here from these posts, that no one quite sure yet what the effects of Caffine are or going to be.
Caffeine is NOT live yet anywhere don't believe everything you read. It's very simple show me where these exact SERP's ( http://209.85.225.103/search?hl=en&q=widget&btnG=Search&aq=f&oq= ) are showing up on a regular basis in live results. I'm not talking about a couple data centers which always show random SERP's. I don't understand why you keep creating these threads they only misinform people. The SERP's that you are seeing now are either Nov/Dec 09 SERP's, holiday SERP's or Google's screw up from "trying" to implement Caffeine which didn't go well (has happened many times through history) and didn't happen. As Google stated this is the Caffeine data center http://209.85.225.103/search?hl=en&q=widget&btnG=Search&aq=f&oq=. These SERP's are dramatically different from the current live SERP's.
I'd be nice if somene form the big G just pushed the button and got it over with 100%. I think its live in Canada for my datacenters.
@redgsr, You are incorrect. Jan 7th a major change in Google happened to appear across multiple DC's (125) that I watch on a daily basis. At the same time social media feeds started popping up in the results. Call it Caffeine call it an update, whatever you want to make yourself happy but none of the DC's are lining up properly and results are screwy.
@ redgsr, I also believe you are incorrect, ive checked my rankings on the caffeine preview (sandbox address) and have now checked different data centres which mirror these results. Jim can you monitor to see how many have been uploaded on the datacentres... E.g. 7/125 for example. Im guessing it will be a good month until fully rolled out?
