Google Caffeine soon Brings the End to AutoBlogs/Spam Sites

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by spacejesus, Feb 13, 2010.

I've been reading a lot about Google Caffeine lately.

This is because I just started getting revenue from Adsense.

Organic searches are vital for this.

Google's update on SE Results can change a lot of this.

The robots will look at 200 things now to determine SERPs, which include how fast your page loads, META tags relevancy, automation clues (timestamps, IP-ranges, anchor text), bookmarking on page or not, and like 195 other things.

Obviously this is meant to kick out sites that are MFA/Spam, but then what happens to us? MFA sites serve a purpose and even Amazon likes us using Blac**at techniques to drive traffic to our niche sites!

Even with all my reading I'm not sure that my sites will survive the update. Several of the Google IPs have already been updated. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop!

    :(

Is this just a speculation or do you have any specific -- and trustworthy -- pointers?

    Thanks.

Google's algorithm changes everyday...so it's hard to predict if it will truly be the end of autoblogs. Google is constantly fighting spam and spam blogs. Nevertheless people still build them and still rank with them. Why? Because there are people who are always a step ahead of google!

META tags relevancy is no longer considered by google. Its all about onpage content plus the few other factors mentioned.

So is that going to throw a wrench ino the gears for someone like me... who say would write 14 articles and have them automatically released by an auto-blog tool (that I havent found yet)...

There will always be people who will find new ways to get around those ;)

Not all autoblogs can look like autoblogs. You just need a unique content creator that will do the right job.

Well every article I write is unique ;) Im not intending to use an auto blog to make content up for me, just post content I have made up, so I dont need to do it every day... kind of like how you can cue an email that you wrote to be sent at a later date....

About the only Adsense relation in this thread is the part about MFAs. However, since the thread is going I think it worth mentioning a site I've been using recently.

    http://www.webpagetest.org/

Tweaking the server and rerunning the tests a few times from different places I've managed to cut page load times down pretty quick. Actually, the adsense script on my pages seems to be the main "slowing" factor now lol

Caching and compressed content is going to become more and more important IF speed is a ranking factor.

    2. Check your Meta Title and Description Tags (MTDT)- Your MTDT are very important due to search relevancy and accuracy of site indexing. Clear, concise, and informative Meta Tags produce higher ranking SERP's.

    3. Check your sub MTDT- It’s also important to evaluate your sub MTDT to ensure they are accurate and effective. You can accomplish this be clicking on the cache stored below your home page. Accurate and effective sub MTDT can often rank higher than your primary Meta Tags.

There are plenty of article rewriter programs/plugins out there, some are free. This will get around big G.

One good free one is: postwriter.com

Even if you don't have "fresh" articles, you can just Yahoo Ans*wers or post Youtube Videos. There are also free resources for this.
