I'm already seeing differences in rankings for some of my common searches, looks like its a pretty serious anti-spam refresh. Unless that's just randomisation until the index settles down again...
i have already starting noticing the PR difference of the various sites by today itself, facebook has raise from PR 9 to PR 10. So it can certainly benefit us.
The best think about Google Caffeine is that, whilst it may affect the SERPs (it's still early days yet to see quite how and whether positively or negatively), it does offer the opportunity to get listed very quickly. I just noticed a news story I released was listed in Google news results within 20 minutes of publication; that's good news for me and my clients

The whole system has changed. The old index had several layers, some of which were refreshed at a faster rate than others; the main layer would update every couple of weeks. This means the search index is updated continually. Therefore, new pages will show up in the Google search results quicker for relevant searches. You can read my blog post about it if you like
