Hey guys, many have been complaining about their site pages not being indexed properly.. Many have stated it's on certain data centers.. By using Firefoxs "show ip" plugin, I was able to retrieve the datacenter IPs that I've been having problems with, in regards to indexing sites that are 3 months old or less. After doing some search online, it looks like they are all Google Caffeine datacenters. Check these out and see how you're ranking with the new google search engine and if your also have problems with site indexing. The ips are: 209.85.225.99+5 =209.85.225.104,209.85.225.106,209.85.225.105,209.85.225.147,209.85.225.103,209.85.225.99 I'm curious if anyone has built a new site in 2010, also having indexing problems (you can test with the site: command). I haven't noticed any problems on computers in neighboring cities 30-60 miles away from me that are still using traditional Google Data Centers.. For some reason my location and ISP pulls caffeine datacenter search results where most may still be pulling older data centers. If you've been noticing problems with indexing or traffic, you may want to install the Firefox "show ip" plugin so you'll know which datacenters you're having problems with.. Possibly report to Google? Yes I know it takes time for new sites, but I've built hundreds of sites for 9 years now, and I'm seeing an abnormally slow or complete lack thereof, of indexing on sites that 1-3 months old for these caffeine datacenters only. I'm hoping Google is aware of it and fixing it. These are whitehat sites have been plenty of links for 3 month old sites, which were bookmarked (digg, mixx, searchles..), a ezine article or two, and high authority relevant website links, yet still nothing other than a homepage index. 15-30 links seems plenty too me.. Aggressive linking only does more harm than good in my opinion.
All those IPs are showing the same number of indexed pages for my site. Don't know why, but the speed of indexing dropped since the caffeine is rolling.
Here are additional Google Caffeine Datacenters I'm seeing indexing problems with: 74.125.95.106,74.125.95.99,74.125.95.105,74.125.95.104,74.125.95.147,74.125.95.103
