Hi, I'm using MediaWiki to build a documentation area of my website. You need to be logged to get access but if you search my wiki on Google is is showing these pages cached by google pages services and anyone can read these articles.

    How can I avoid that?

Your scripts may have a setting to allow search engines in - often it's to catch people through a search and get them to sign up.

    Check your settings.

    Hi,
logically, content on his mediawiki documentation is protected by username and password.
this login process also protect the content from search engine, right ?

so, although robots.txt allow to catch the link, and without noindex, follow rule, the search engine should have a login info so he can access the pages..
(long time a go, i remember there is a page in google webmaster tool or somewhere, to allow search engine accessing a protected page, we give access to SE by giving a username and pass).

Probably security issue in Mediawiki ?
    or, cookies maybe ?
