Google Cached My New Site Everyday- Does This Mean Anything Good?

I have a new PR0 site (less than one month old) that gets cached everyday by Google. Is this a good thing even though it seems my site is in the sandbox?

I add at least 1 new article everyday so that my site has a lot of unique content.

I've also been able to get 4 PR5 homepage backlinks from similar sites at no cost. They liked my site and were willing to link to me on their own.

Am I going in the right direction?
