Google cache still displays old domain after 2 months, help?

We switched from old domain to a new one:
    http://www.festiva.travel

After 2 months search name properly changed, describtion as well, BUT we still see old cached domain name under the describtion in search results.
Here is a screenshot to show what I am describing:
    http://www.festiva.travel/festiva.gif

What we've done in the 2 months since the switch is setup all proper 301 redicrects, redirect works fine from old domain to new one, updated links and keywords, resubmitted sitemap, etc. I've also tried to remove old domain site using google URL removal, but couldn't do it since we permamently moved from old main already.

Google cache seem to have updated on Feb 4 but still displays old domain name in cache results under the describtions.

Anyone have any ideas or help I'd greately appreciate,

    Thanks!!

Well, using a 301 redirect can take search engines a few days or weeks to start to send the link juice to your new domain.

As you mention I see your cache is not that old:

This is Google's cache of http://festivaresorts.com/. It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on 4 Feb 2010 21:11:07 GMT.

Also your new site is already indexed on Google
    site:http://www.festiva.travel

Have you tried to use Google Webmaster tool to try to fix this ? I think you can also redirect the domains and also tell google which domain to use for search results

I've used Webmaster tools and have the preferred domain as www.festiva.travel

I suppose maybe we should wait longer for Google to refresh the cache so the address changes to www.festiva.travel, but so far the cache snapshots still indicate old domain name, it did update the actual content of the cache, all keywords on that cached page are changed, but not the domain name

That's definitely strange that it's taking so long. Try acquiring some links to the new URL, that may speed things up.

Working on link exchanges and pushing it up on the rankings, hopefully it will update at some point.

Put up a google Sitemap. If nothing much it will at least show you some good statistics about your website including last crawl and crawling errors.
