    Hi to all:)
I have a blog regulary updated
    http://www.blogigo.co.uk/Computing_Tips
if I check how many pages Google knows I see all the pages
But if I check Google cache of index page I see old date of June
What do you think the problem is?

    Thanks

Google update their cache after some time. Depending on the crawl speed, you should see the cache updated after some time.

Is it in the Google index ? Thats all that matters , cache is only a useful tool , no relevance other than that.

Your home page changes each time you make a new post , the current "post" has not been indexed by google ( the post becomes the lead article on the index page ) The cache shows google indexed the page on june 19 th , that is not to say it has not visited & downloaded since then,if you have been pinging and so forth You may get some tips on how to get your posts quickly included in the index , in the blogging forum.

I'm having a similar problem (thread here). The issue for me is that search results are displaying out of date meta info, which isn't ideal.
