Has anyone else ever experienced this: http://209.85.135.104/search?q=cach...ient=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official I dont know what the problem is. But when I view the site through the cache browser with google it is messed upp. I have tried to fix ti and redesign the site several times everytime that comes up. What can you suggest. WIll this effect any SEO do you think? I think there is no way, since all the content is still there.
Hi Kalyse, You shouldn't worry about it, definitely dont try to design for it. The cache that google takes will not always cache as intented, especially when using javascript/css. The other reason it'll be less likely to cache correctly when previewed is that google puts a header up the top of the page, so that it wouldn't be valid x/html and may also further screw with your css most browsers! In regards to your SE placement, it wont make any major difference, though making fully valid pages will help further to a degree: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.invision-gaming.co.uk/
Do not worry about how your page looks cached. You must not view a lot of cached pages, but MOST are messed up in some way.
It looks fine in firefox. You shouldn't pay attention how your site looks cached. Google adds extra code at the top of every site so div layouts can look messy.
