Google cache? Previous search results?

    hey all,

Have a question regarding google search results.

We are involved in a case currently that involves defamation/slander. The person who is claiming to be defamed is in fact a convicted criminal, a disbarred attorney, and has a general criminal reputation.

About 4 months ago, I googled her name and a few articles came up talking about fraudulent things she had been involved in.

The fact that those are there are MAJOR MAJOR factors in the defamation case, because when those sorts of things are already out there, it's hard to make a defamation case; you have to show your reputation was damaged by whatever the defendant said, and if that sort of thing is out there for all to see, then your rep. is already damaged to the point where a few words said by someone cannot hurt it any further.

Scenario now is that those search results no longer come up. It's likely that she threatened the sites that had the articles up with lawsuits, and got them to take the stuff down. Or, it could have just gone away - the stuff was from like 2001.

Either way, what I would like to know is -- Is there any way that I can reproduce those search results, so that I can prove that as of at a couple months back, that stuff was out there?

I heard google keeps a cache of all sorts of stuff, and can access stuff that has long been gone. I need to try and do that if possible.

Any help is appreciated, there is big money involved here potentially.
