I want to search google with some of my targeted keywords, to see where my site is coming up in the results. I live in canada, and when I type www.google.com, it automatically redirects to www.google.ca. Is there some way to search the .com instead of the .ca, or are they all basically the same?
You can search all of them at the same time and compare at McDar's Site Or you can enter a specific datacenter in your browser like http://64.233.167.99
If you have the google toolbar installed you can set the .com .fr .uk ... in the options and yes results will be different.
you can simply click on the .com And no, the results are not the same, they are different for each country. The ad sense results on the side cannot be changed to show the US results, you will only get the ones that are geo-targeted to canada.
