Well as most of you will know, google maps has now started to do "map view" and i was wondering if they have a image of a certain company shop on one of the streets - could they be breaking the law?

I was just wondering because sometimes you see tv shows etc which sometimes blur out company logo's etc on t-shits etc etc

Sorry if this is a dumb question but i was just wondering

What law would they possibly be breaking?

TV shows blur info out so as not to give free advertising, or conflict with other paid advertising, or to hide profanity. There is nothing wrong with showing store names or logos on t-shirts.

the laws are different in different countries! in case the laws are broken another suit will be filed, and google will pay the money! remember youtube already have plenty of those cases running, dose it really matter to the big G!!;)

I believe in the case of google maps all the images of shops would be considered public domain since publicly available.
