I have a site that I've built links for since Sept. The site was finally reaching page one.. But now just went back a few pages. I think this site has a solid base of backlinks.. But its shocking how it jumped back. I have anoter site that is feeling the effects too. Did google just change their algo? Also -- do you think its primarily because of my article backlinks? MOst of my backlinks are from articles and some dupe-posted articles........
I've seen a site I'm working on bounce between psotion 5 and 17. I can't be sure what the reason is, I haven't done anything different to normal. I'm just continuing with link building to see if I can make it more stable. I suggest you do the same, as far as I'm aware there is no solid reason for it. I doubt that you article backlinks are the root of the problem, as I have had stable success doing just that.
Mbomb, it has been said, with great frequency lately, that Google is definitely getting 'bouncy'. I, too have experienced these peaks and valleys recently, but mine seem to be positive 'bounces'...at least for this week.
