bounce rate depends on the type of traffic you are getting. if you are getting bot hots or traffic from social sites, they will just come and go without staying on your site for long which will increase your bounce rate. if you have good content site and organic traffic, you should not have much issue with bounce rate.
Hello singhbadshah, I checked out your site and there are many things you can do to lower your bounce rate. There are millions of sites on the internet selling pearls. Why should visitors buy from you? How are you going to break through the noise, grab visitor's attention and differentiate yourself from your competitors? You only have between 4 and 7 seconds to grab the new visitor and tell him why he should be dealing with you instead of your competitors. You do this with something called your Unique Value Proposition. Those are the reasons and they have to be front and center on your homepage above the fold. Where is your About Us page? Where are you located? The About Us page should be about YOU. A picture and a little bio that communicates your passion for being in this business and serving customers is what they are looking for. People want to do business with people, not with websites. Why hide from them? Let them know who they are dealing with. Your flash images are also a problem. Some people are ok with them, others put up with it and others hate it. Once they've seen it, they can't stop it. Some will just get frustrated and leave. Also, you might want them to be able to read other things you have on your home page, but for some visitors, it is too distracting. The real answer to all of this is called "User Control". Go to this site: www.usa.gov. This is a perfect example of how it should be handled. You give the user complete control. They can pause it, play it or do whatever they want. You want to cast the widest net possible around incoming visitors. There's no reason to walk away from the ones that don't like flash. Their money is just as good as anyone else's. Remember, you are in a very competitive space with well established websites, reputations, pricing and customer service. What is going to make people trust you and want to buy from you?
