google bot trying to fill in forms?

    has any one seen any evidence of the mozilla googlebot trying to submit html forms?

    I haven't seen it, but I've seen confirmed reports of it happening: A Google-owned IP address calling itself GoogleBot filled out and submitted a form.

    interesting... i have heard this also but havent seen any concrete proof. I wonder if you can get googlebot to index a page that it has got to via submitting a form. time for an experiment i think.
