am not sure where to post my this msg so am posting here hope will get reliable reply or solution am using a youtube video clone script runing on my domain hosting i have changed my host on my previous host i have bandwidth of 2 gb and i used only few mbs in a complete month with 5000 visits per day but now on my current new host i have bandwidth of 1500mb and daily my bandwidth is used near about 150 mb with only less then 1000 visits . any one can tell me why its is using such a large bandwith i realise that google bot.html link checked my each page which r opened my visitors because when ever i check my cpanel and go to latest visitors then i alwas saw at top more then 100 visits from google bot.html page like below * /QSnAmjQzcp4-ClipsPk-horny_girl_crazy_hot_love_on_bed.html Http Code: 200 Date: Aug 06 22:38:37 Http Version: HTTP/1.1 Size in Bytes: 9524 Referer: - Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html) please tell me is this google bot using my high bandwidth or there is any other fault in my script if this google bot is using my maximum bandwidth then tell me how could i stop this and if i stoped this bot then can my web will be still present on same place in google search engine or it will be removed?
hmm, I'm afraid there's only one part of your question I really understand If you prevent Google bot from spidering your page, then the next time it tries to spider it will have no way of knowing if your website is in the same condition as before. For all Google knows you could have turned into a spam site, so it would have no choice but to drop your website from it's listings.
