Google Boost Could Be The New Game Changer

Google Boost was first announced in October, 2010. It was introduced in parts of California and it's now available in Florida & Illinois.

This will put those Google Map listing companies out of business for sure. First, we could use 5 different keywords on Google Maps (or Places), now they'll show it on thousands if you pay them.

If you have a brick and mortar, you need to read about Google Boost.

 

local listings are now getting more popular.. but this only applies for those site that only target local market.. it only means that google are now giving way for small businesses.

 

yes we are getting 15 results on first page so how could we know the position of our site. Its Pretty confusing

 

It is confusing....think that's why it's still beta

I think the name 'boost' speaks for itself. Definitely one big help for local businesses. I wonder how this would affect the ever changing game of SEO, again?

 

I'm most excited about it because I'm in the car business, and these guys are years behind. When they have their NADA and Digital Dealer Conventions it's pure comedy because it's like being at the SMX 5 years before

 

That's another good revenue for Google and much affordable too for local businesses.
