Will adding a website to your google.com/bookmarks help in any way? Will google index it faster in any way? Or will more pages be indexed? Or any other benefit.
One thing to be noted is that the bookmarks cannot be shared.

    Wondering....?

I agree with sourcer: if the bookmarks aren't shared, there is no benefit for the search engine.

You bookmarking your own site won't make a difference but if a million people searching for a term bookmark the site then I'm sure google is going to see the site as relevant...

Google will keep this data internal to themselves they don't need to share it to use it as lart of SERPS calculation.

If they aren't doing this already I'm sure they will in the future.

They are only going to use that information if they think spammers aren't using the system to artificially rank their site higher. Anyhow, as a pr instrument it doesn't work as long as putting your site in there doesn't mean other people are seeing that site. I mean: delicio works because when I put in a link, other people see it - and if they like it will ad that link to their bookmarks - which means more people get to see it and if they like it, ad to their bookmarks etc. Same with stumbleupon, furl and yahoo bookmarks. That gets one traffic, and even some non no-follow links - because you get exposure. Exposure means links means higher pagerank (eventually). Though of course that only works if people actually like your site.
with google bookmarks the social path is cut off, so adding a link to google bookmarks is not going to show my link to more people, so it doesn't help in serps.
