(Just for the record, a quick search for Google Bomb or Google Bombing would have saved me 4 seconds of my life by not having to post this and also a couple seconds of your life for not having to post this thread... and possibly a couple seconds of others lives for deciding to click and read this thread... but now I'm just wasting peoples lives by writing this and probably getting them to read it)

what's the difference between google bombing and ranking for a keyword? I mean there pretty the same thing, except with Google Bombing you're being evil in trying to rank for a term that's perhaps not related to you?

 

ranking for a keyword should come naturally with lots of quality relevant inbound links.

Google Bombing involves spamming thousands of pages with your link and anchor text to rank for a particualr term.

Get many links for same word within a short period of time such that within a day or two, is knows as google bombing. It make that word rank on 1st position in google, since google algo still consider the number of links when ranking websites.
