Yup - Its here and the " The cat is coming out of the bag! " Google is replacing big daddy with "Bloodhound" Google Bloodhound I am way sure there will be TONS of skeptics, But have a look and listen carefully .... This really does make sense
Thanks for the mention - Just FYI, like everything else on the blog, this is my opinion and my speculation about what's in use now and what might be active in the future, so don't take it as truth, but hopefully it's interesting at least
So if this is the case, it will help Google filter out websites which are old and no longer relevant, correct?
It sounds like a step forward but *sometimes* the original article is not always the best piece of information. (lack of info or whatnot) I can see search engines using this to help but ultimately I would think they would want the best article to show up in the results.
I think the thing to remember here is just b/c you are the first... doesn't mean you are the best. I have a site where we wrote about something a large company did (others had written about it before) but we included way more information and added some graphs. The way we put the information together was much better than some of the original bloggers that wrote 2-3 paragraphs on the subject. We ultimely got linked by more sources since our info was more informational. Do you think the basic Google user cares who wrote about something first???
