    What determines if your site shows up in google blog search when people search for a keyword phrase?

    I get a lot of traffic from google, but limited from blog search. I'd like to increase this traffic.

    blogsearch.google.com/ping

    register with feedburner and have them automatically ping google blog for you

    I heard somewhere the more people you have signed up for your rss feeds the higher you will rank for blog search... i.e with feedburner

    Put the ping link into wordpress and wait. I got some pretty nice rankings there but there is no traffic so far.
