I hope this is the right forum for this. I've been trying to get one of my blogs listed in Google Blog Search for several months. I should note that within the same account (and Same IP), i have another blog that is already and previously listed in Google blog search. I've submitted the blog via their submission page. I've got all the necessary pings set up to the Google Blog Search server. And, after 4 months, I'm still not in Google Blog search. But, I am listed in the search engine. My next thought is to: a) get a new account and move the site to the new account/IP or b) I'm considering whether a dedicated IP would help my situation. This whole process has been disappointing considering how easily splogs from Google's blogspot can get listed. Mine is legit - but no love.
It may just be a matter of being patient while continually adding more content and links. If you still have no luck after 3 or 4 weeks, it may be worth trying a different ip. A new ip might not make much difference though. Is your new blog about a different topic than your old blog?
Thanks, van. Yes, the new blog is about an entirely new topic. I haven't had any luck since first starting it in July. Perhaps it's time for the new IP.
