Google blocked account, can I take my money back?

Hi guys,

Google disabled my account (all ads are off) saying I did something against their rules (no explanations were given). I have about $80 in this account left from $100 voucher. If I select to close account, will google refund this money back to my credit card or not (taking into account money are from voucher)? Anybody had such situation?

You should try to contact them. That's a vex in itself if you were to lose major like that.

 

They will refund that money upon request. You most likely will have to call there help desk though.

 

If you have money left from $100 voucher, I don't think they will refund that money for you.

 

I sent them a message asking if I still can use this account, so waiting for a response. If I do not get it soon I will close account and ask a refund (there is an option in account to make this). I guess there is not need to call them, as it can be done from your account. It will take 2 weeks for refund according to their info.

tcm, well if think reasonably they must refund all money from my account in spite of how I got them there. All vouchers are paid by somebody, so I do not think they will loose their money. But who knows, maybe they are too greedy

 

u'll not get your money back if they already block you. try to contact them and ask to revoke their decision. but i think useless..

I do not know why, they did not tell me, they just told that I had not followed some guidelines (have no idea what) and they can disable any account at their own discretion. No responses from them since. I will wait a little more and then will send a 'close account' request.

 

It's very unlikely IMHO that you will get money back from a voucher. There will be something in the TOS stating that voucher credit is non refundable
