I was just told my sits were black listed by Google. How do I find out if this is true or not as well as if it is true who do I contact? My sites are family friendly with no changes made in the past few months due to my illness. I have been online with at least one of these sites longer than Google has existed. Adsense ads still appear on the sites. I use nothing that is wrong or against terms of service that I am aware of. Is there a reason that is new that they are blacklisting sites or is it possible someone doing this to me? This is my income for my family for many years. I have 5 kids I take care of and really need some help figuring this out. I have noticed a huge traffic drop but figured it was due to summer and the new Windows 8 & the use of apps ect. Please ANY information is greatly appreciated & needed.
If your website is blacked ,it can be recover. But tell your domain name. As well check your google webmaster tools messages. Have you received any google email?
My understanding is they are not black listed. The advertiser that told me this must have been wrong or other reasons sad to see a 3 year relationship gone but nothng I can do about it. Just work more on my sites.
Look in google webmaster tools, it will tell you if a manual penalty has been applied. It your site appears after about result 150, then you were likely hit by the panda update. Sites don't really get "blacklisted" by google, only penalized.
nothing in webmaster tools. Still in searches as well. Most keywords still have good placement The advertiser just told me "The problem is the linking from your site to ours. It degrades our site in the google rankings. Please remove all links.. Thanks" Is this true?
I still don't get why As for the sites several including the one below in my signature. Can't change his mind. Moving on & looking for new advertisers
Your advertiser might have other concerns - like the lack of work put into the sites? The sig site is so quaint... number of hits since 2006? I didn't know people still used things like that.
