It seems as though Google is again cracking down on MFAs and spam in their index .... is it just me or is there suddenly an increase in banned sites ? I myself have several sites marked as MFA/Spam in Google and also I am noticing more reports here at DP - also at Google groups discussion -

Maybe I am just noticing them because of my recent dilemmas ?

How do you understand that your site is marked as MFA/Spam in Google?

I have hit the groups discussion in Google, the basic consensus was that the sites were removed because they resembled spam, MFA or light affiliate pages.

My site was slowly loosing indexed pages in Google, got faster, then all pages were removed, hence banned from Google.

I thinkn Google is also trying to decrease click revenue for publishers on sites with little value.... It's probably the best way for them to actually crack down on MFA sites... Stop paying them and they will stop making them...
