Google Beated Up By Yahoo?

Today morning I read a very interesting article, I really don't know if these are old news but seems to be that Yahoo finally joins Twitter!

There were several publications back in 2009 that announced Google buying Twitter for $635 millions, but as for today's news, after a fierce battle between Google and Yahoo, this last one won the coveted trophy.

    Maybe somebody can clarify?

    Thanks!

Could you please share the source link here? I have no logical behind the scene that cause Google to be beaten by Yahoo anyway.

That wasn't an affirmation, this is why I used the question mark, if they were betting over Twitter and Yahoo got away with it I guess Yahoo won, still unknown.

Sure thing, I have a newsletter subscription here, I am very satisfied with this site

Let me know what do you think.

    Thank you.

I really hope those are real news, First of all, it's a matter of time until Adsense users will realize that the same campaign at Overture with equivalent results will cost $4000 while Adsense will take $6000.

I really like Adsense but let's face that nowadays Overture has an incredible performance and if Yahoo actually includes Twitter as its own social media marketing tool then Google should start thinking about lowering prices, which I think is good.

    Just an opinion.

well there's not a whole lot of information in that article, not to mention the fact that the article itself is over 16 months old so it's not a lot to go by

Got a newsletter saying that Yahoo bought Twitter, then got to read the real article, not only says joins but also is dated from February 2009

Bottom line: I just unsubscribed from that site

    Thanks for your help though.

I don't think Google would ever lose out on anything to Yahoo.
